![]() ![]() Seen the EMP shot was tied to a captain in the video - not a fan of giving such perks to characters as these were well baked into the weapon loadout concept and does not make sense for characters to provide such abilitiesĪlso unsure how multi-ship combat would look like -maybe its only relevant for coop in which case it doesnt matter for me as only playing single player (no time to multiplay with job and family need to play in 10-40min bursts) I hope this game has another type of emergency that allows for more stories to develop and for the player to better roleplay. I dont mind if its built upon the mechanics of FTL as long as the visuals deliver and the mechanics are further developed: FTL had a very basic premise that did not allow for much exploration or storyline outside of the main premise ![]() The fact that you will keep unlocking new items for a long LONG time also adds to its longevity. This is the first time I herd about this game (via Worth a Buy) but looks promising. So unlike some of the disappointed would have you believe, the game has a LOT of depth, while at the same time it's still perfect to play in short bursts. Easy to learn, but after what is now perhaps 40-50 hours of gameplay, I'm still nowhere near perfectly mastering the art of dodging/blocking/parrying like a pro. If visceral, engaging and absolutely gorgeous sword-fighting action with controls similar to Fruit Ninja sounds like your thing, this is likely to become your absolute favorite iOS game. Instead, it's a highly polished and fully realized fighting game, something of a Tekken with swords with some RPG-like character progression/loot and story progression added to it. "It may look like an RPG but if you're going in for a lengthy story and epic character progression, you'll probably end up disappointed. Punch Out with RPG elements in shiny Unreal Engine armor.
